Cambridge Five

a ring of Soviet spies in the UK who passed information to the Soviet Union during World War II and into the early 1950s. It has been suggested they may also have been responsible for passing Soviet disinformation to the Nazis. The ring has been proven to have included Kim Philby (cryptonym: Stanley), Donald Duart Maclean (cryptonym: Homer), Guy Burgess (cryptonym: Hicks), and Anthony Blunt (cryptonym: Johnson).

Kim Philby

(1 January 1912 – 11 May 1988)

In 1963, Philby was revealed as a member of the spy ring now known as the Cambridge Five, along with Donald Maclean, Guy Burgess, Anthony Blunt and John Cairncross. Of the five, Philby is believed to have done the most damage to British and American intelligence, providing classified information to the Soviet Union that caused the deaths of scores of agents.

The Sandbaggers

The Sandbaggers was a British spy series produced by Yorkshire Television first released in 1978 and ending in 1980. The series creater, Ian Mackintosh, disappeared under mysterious circumstances while crossing Canada in a single engine plane in July 1979. IMDb Main Details

I received the complete collection of three DVD boxed sets from an acquaintance when I helped clear up the leavings of her yard sale. I had no idea I was receiving (for free) such a great set of videos. listing on Amazon
